      Obituary

      Halifax & Huddersfield Express & Weekly Advertiser, 26 Dec 1833:

      "On Monday week, in his 70th year, Francis VICKERMAN esq of Taylor Hill near Huddersfield. He had been many years in connexion with the Methodist body, in which, and as a useful member of ... society, he was greatly respected"

      (quite different from the earlier Luddite comment "that detested man")
